I'm Jess Groenendyk, a Fashion/Apparel Design graduate with Honours, and I’ve recently relocated to Berlin. With a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, I have a solid foundation in design principles, garment construction, and sustainable practices, alongside proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Excel.
Since graduating, I've gained hands-on experience in various roles, including Product Development Assistant, Sample Machinist, and Workroom Assistant. These positions have allowed me to refine my technical skills and develop a keen eye for the details that bring great designs to life.
While my background is rooted in fashion design, I am increasingly drawn to costume design, where storytelling and creative expression through clothing truly excite me. Berlin’s vibrant cultural scene provides the perfect environment to explore this new path, and I’m eager to apply my diverse skill set to both fashion and costume design projects in the city.
I’m passionate about collaborating with like-minded creatives and am always open to new opportunities. Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to connect or learn more about my work!
